Gameplay
The bulk of the play time is solving puzzles by moving the main character Pedro around on a tile grid.
Pedro rolls snowballs by moving into snow patches on the ground. Snowballs can be pushed around and rolled over more snow to increase their size. Pushing a snowball against an obstacle (including another snowball) will pick it up. Pedro also navigates through slippery ice and avoids pools of water.
The player needs to navigate around to pick up the correct configuration of snowballs to complete the level.
Levels often start with dialogue. The dialogue serves 2 purposes. To introduce and teach gameplay mechanics and to provide narrative and tell a story through the game.
Story
Pedro is new to town and is immediately caught up in a case of a missing Snow Cone vendor, fishy business dealings and local law enforcement who will stop at nothing to get to the bottom of it all. Recruited by Sarge, Pedro learns how to make delicious Snow Cones while going undercover. Some customers are up to no good and Pedro soon finds themselves in too deep and skating on thin ice.
